I have heard all around people they mention me about other hotels in the island, if there any thin different from Decameron to have a different experience in the island. Because when they ask for other option in their preference travel agency they say: no, there no other hotel there. The fact it’s that there no other whit the plan you are coming whit to San Andres. In Canadian case nolitours have a contract whit Airtrasat and Decameron hotels to only give service whit them.
So for instants, if you came in a last chance flight how and where could you stay? Well in the island you have native house, were they offer hosting, and hotels that aren’t in the Decameron groups.
To book hotel in San Andres sometimes in complicate because the majorities of this hotel are Local Manage so you have to call direct to the hotels, or contact them true mail something that sometimes result harder that true phone.
So unfortunately the best way is to travel to San Andres and ones here, find were to stay, if you definitely don’t want a experience of all inclusive. You also have the change to stay on native how that you can see the list of places on the top menu of the blog on Hotels.
And definitely keep in mind that in San Andres everyone helps you, so if you need anything don’t hesitate to ask question to the cabs driver they also have nice tips about where to stay. Something that defiantly works it’s asking them to carry you to a recommended and economical hotel, and you will have a great result.

comparto totalmente el concepto de esta nota,
yo he estado en febrero y tuve la suerte de hospedarme en una posada Nativa, Native lodge Clis Place en la 20 de julio y a una calle del mar,
maravillosa y super informativa Cli, su dueña, habitaciones muy confortables con aire acondicionado, heladera, TV,
cerca, muy cerca d una d las mejores playas, para mi, la mejor,
recomiendo este tipo de hospedaje para aquellos que gusten de saber como viven los nativos de la isla y sus costumbres.
SI eso siempre hay que tenerno en cuenta pero pocas agencia recomiendas la opcion o sela presentas a las personas por utilidades.

Muchas gracias por la información, pero agradecería si me pueden facilitar el teléfono de la posada de Cleotilde Henry ( o como la conocen Cli’s Place) he tratado de contactarla en el 57 (8) 5126957 , pero no me ha entrado la llamada, he recibido muy buenos comentarios de su hotel, y hace ya muchos años tuve la oportunidad de probar su muy buena sazón.

Lucas, en febrero de 2010 yo pague u$s 25.- por noche en la Posada de Cli, solo con cafe, pero incluye la habitacion con heladera y aire acondicionado. Cli tiene una onda alucinante y si arreglas con ella por un extra te sirve el mejor y mas tipico de las desayunos completos, tambien arreglando con ella se ocupa de tu cena, y como forma pàrte de la comunidad raizal te dara toda la info que quieras para saber mas acerca de los habitantes de la isla.
Comer en otros lados te puede salir desde u$s 7.- y hasta u$s 35.- claro esta ultima opcion con frutos de mar, centolla y otras exquisiteces.
Cruzando la calle de la Posada hay un hipermercado super completo, yo compraba algunas cosas que ponia en la heladera y cuando llegaba agotada me hacia algo ligero de cena. Para comer espectacularmente te recomiendo ir a lo de Bibi, a su Bibi´s Place en Hyness Cay, tiene parte del cayo destinado a restó y el resto con reposeras para tomar sol al compás de buena musica, y alli nomas, los mares con sus barreras coralinas y la mejor opcion para hacer buceo con snorkel.

Febrero es un mes espectacular. No dejes de ir a la playa que queda a una calle de lo de Cli, frente a la bahia de Serdina, para mi gusto, tiene la mejor vista.
